Through decades of deep involvement in New York City’s music culture—working in record shops, music distribution, managing events, and running the labels On The Prowl and others—Marcos Cabral has always stayed true to his core passions: DJing and music production.As both a solo artist and half of the acclaimed duo Runaway (alongside Jacques Renault), Marcos has built an international reputation for his timeless and genre-blending sound. His discography includes standout releases like the underground classic “24 Hour Flight” on L.I.E.S., and “Brooklyn Club Jam” for Rekids/DFA Records. Having released music on dozens of labels worldwide, Marcos has brought his distinctive energy to dance floors across the globe—from Sweden to Brazil, Turkey to Scotland, and throughout the U.S., where he’s been DJing for over thirty years.
