SCOTT FERGUSON
Scott Ferguson delved into the House & Techno scene in Detroit, Michigan in 1994, transitioning into DJing and exploring various vinyl records encompassing Detroit & Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Disco, & Funk. In 1998, he embraced the Ensoniq ASR-10, integral to his sample-heavy, filtered sound. Ferguson's debut 12" surfaced in 2001 under his own label, alongside releases on 'Mahogani Music' and 'Psychostatia Recordings'. In 2012, he initiated two new projects: the minimalist 'Black Boxx' utilizing three black hardware boxes, and JBSF with Jitterbug. His productions have garnered acclaim from iconic DJs such as Derrick May, Larry Heard, and Moodymann. Presently, Ferrispark Records continues to produce and distribute vinyl, while Ferguson continues his global DJ ventures.
